Clemson Men’s Tennis South Carolina, 7-0 – Fox Carolina

Clemson, SC (Clemson Athletics) -lmson Tigers (6-0) provided their second, 7-0 for the season against the state rival, South Carolina (5-3) on Friday night in the tennis of the Duburt family. The victory marked the first time the tigers swept Gamecocks since 1995 and their first victory over South Carolina from 2014.

With the victory, the “tigers” also provided a point for the Clemson in the Palm series, represented by the Lottery for education in South Carolina.

Clemson 7, South Carolina 0

Opening couples, gender sar and Atakan Karahan from South Carolina beat Max Dam and Victor Markov 6-2. For even the result, Wissam Abderrahman and Romain Gales took off Casey Houl and Sean Daryabagi 6-3. Following Noah Vukadin and Max Smith, they strengthened the Doubles Point for the tigers with a 6-4 victory over Lucas da Silva and Connor Thomson of South Carolina, giving a 1-0 lead to Clemson.

In singles Mesarovic began with a decisive victory with 6-4, 6-1 over 105 sar. Smith followed with the victory on the court six over Atakan Karahan, winning 3-6, 6-3, 6-1.

Grill the victory for the “tigers” was an aberrahman with a 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 victory over Houl on the court two. At three courts, Markov took Silva and provided another point over Gamecocks with a win of 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.

The GES continued the result for the “tigers” in a heavy battle with No. 66 Daryabeigi 7-5, 3-6. To finish the break, Vukadin won the court thriller one over Thomson 7-5, 2-6, 6-1.

The tigers that recently defeated then. 16 Michigan State and No. 17 South Carolina have officially secured their first victories from going back since 2007.

The tigers will then host a double head against the northwest and UNS Ascheville on Sunday, February 9, from 11 am and 5:00 pm in the tennis of the Dukworth family.
