Las Vegas, NV (February 7, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a crash involving two vehicles on South Decare Boulevard in the Spring Valley area on Thursday night. The incident happened around 18:32 north of Avenue West Renault, according to Sofia Police Department in Las Vegas (LVMPD).

Authorities have announced that Toyota Tundra from 2019 is traveling north to the right lane of Decare Blvd, while the Hyundai Elantra 2024 travels north in the central lane. A pedestrian entered the lane out of the marked or implied intersection, stepping into the Toyota path. The front to the left of Toyota struck the pedestrians, throwing them into the central lane, where they were later struck from the front of Hyundai Elantra.

Both vehicles stopped immediately after the collision and the drivers remained at the scene. LVMPD said no driver seems to be disturbed at the time of the incident. The medical staff pronounced the pedestrian dead in the place.

This incident marks the 23rd traffic rates associated with traffic, as part of the Las Vegas police jurisdiction for 2025. The clash remains in an investigation from the LVMPD collision investigation section.
