Men’s tennis grabs Doubles Point, falls in singles at UC Irvine – University of Pacific Athletics

Ervine, California. -The hot-contested match saw the Pacific Tennis Program pop up to an early lead, but UC Irvine managed to fight for 4-2 on Friday at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

Adolescents Terrain das and Tiago Silva Did a quick job of their opponent on the court three for the early edge of pairs and a freshman Jonty giesen and senior Justas Trainauskas turned into a point with their 6-3 victory on the court two.

Trainauskas scored the second point of the Pacific match (2-3) when he defeats his opponent in straight sets. Das had a lead in the third set when UC Irvine (3-2) won the match in his favor.

The Pacific faced the UC Irvine team (3-2), which won the Big West conference last season and advanced in the NCAA tournament.

The tigers remain on the road for their next race, traveling to UC Santa Barbara on Sunday for a match with Gauchos. The first service was set up for 1:30 pm at Arnhol Stadium.
