Career Cooking: Texas Culinary Program offers a new start for job seekers – kvue.com

The bigger part of the students in the program found a job immediately after graduation.

Austin, Texas – a free culinary program is available in the central Texas Bank.

He not only teaches students how to cook, but also gives people lessons in life in order to put them in the workforce.

The culinary training program is an 11-week winter program paid through a grant of $ 10,000 from the Jacques Pepin Foundation.

“The program is really designed to try to get those who are unemployed or inoperative and are looking for a new beginning, a new career and one that is a high demand in central Texas,” Jackson said.

According to the Jacques Pepin Foundation, 75% of students at the Central Texas Food Bank found a job immediately after graduation and remained in the workforce for six months after.
