The lights flashed, balloons that were falling apart and the good times were abundant in the high school in the Baptist Church of the Inuil, while hundreds of people flooded the space these lovers covered dresses and first -class tuxedo.

With all the glitter and splendor he promised, the annual night of Tim Tebot, to shine a special -needs high school student, went on Friday night without towing, after being canceled for a short time this year.

Genesis Church, which has organized the event for almost a decade, revealed that they cannot cope with logistics this year after a change in leadership. Then the community appeared to ensure that the ball had not passed.

With just a month of organizing, companies, organizations and volunteers created stars, embedded with black ties, which was a “night to remember”, literally the topic is appropriate.

“It was great to be here with the community and see the crowd enter,” says Andrew Duef, Coordinator of Tallahasese Ford events. “It’s very special for people present and I think it’s just as special for people who look.”

The Tallahasee Ford resigned this year as a 2025 title sponsor and covers the cost of catering and more.

Cynthia Douglas said she was enthusiastic about bringing her son Joshua, to the ball when he heard about it last year.

“I just waited until he was a senior this year to be able to experience it,” Douglas said.

Joshua is a senior at Lincoln High School. He said he was most fledged to dance and when he hit his dance floor in his tuxedo, “he left his movements,” his mother said.

“I was quite disappointed when I heard it would not happen at the beginning, because we had actually been waiting throughout his life,” Douglas said. “But when they said it happened, we were so relieved and just super excited.”

Initially, Tim Tebrow launched a 2014 ball -style match to spread “Love and Joy for All”. TEBOW is a former NFL defender and has one of the most beautiful university football quarry. Since he retired, he has been an avid supporter of children with special needs and has launched a number of mission trips to countries to spread the Christian Gospel.

As the guests arrived, they were connected to their definitions of “friend”, a volunteer who served as their date for the evening, and then greeted by a crowd, including cheerleaders of Florida and Florida universities, which encourage them as they walk, they The red carpet was running for entering the event.

Linda Bell, a friend for the evening, stood in front of the building and waited until the guest arrived. Her husband was already inside, she said, dancing the night with her sister, who has Down Syndrome.

“I am very excited to meet my husband and take him inside to dance,” Bell said. “It’s so beautiful there and they have done such a big deal.”

The tank has never been empty, never even scarce. Each guest danced and occasionally pulled away to enjoy a hamburger or a piece of cake. Friends hugged, mixed and danced.

When they asked him how his night passed, Joshua floated his finger in the air to the rhythm of Katy Perry’s “fireworks” and with a smile he leaned forward and said “fun”.
