Oliver, Dog Shar Pei, which was rescued by Virginia Beach, will appear in this year’s puppy cup.

New Orleans-Oliver Shar-Pei had a modest beginning before his trip to New Orleans for the 2025 puppy Cup.

According to the rescue of Char-Pia from Virginia, Ollie lived in terrible conditions. Jen Jen, another Char-Pei, wandered from his unpaid yard in their neighbor’s courtyard when he was about four weeks, which alarmed neighbors that he was living there.

Neighbors called the animals, who then discovered a dozen dogs: three puppies about three months old, six puppies at the age of about five weeks and three adult dogs that looked their mothers.

The humane society, which was transported until then, contacted the Savior Char-Pei of Virginia, headquartered in Acomack County. Ollie, Jen Jen and Puppy named Greta were taken to the same receiver in Virginia Beach.

Ollie needed several surgeries and veterinary care after saving. In September, he went through an incident with a fever of 105 for two days and had wheels everywhere and was accepted into a veterinarian to remove his fever and stop the rash. While recovering from this incident, it will be castrated and also needs Entropion surgery. After his operations, he will be adopted by his foster family!

As for the puppy bowl, Olli’s stage name is “Gumbo” and he will compete for Team Fluff. Watch it in the Puppy Cup is this Sunday from 2pm
