Offering some advice, the post tells would-be visitors to follow the “countless forest paths” to see if they can find the “glittering pool of fresh water” known as Loch Ard.

Time Out adds: “If you want to extend your stay, the protected forest of Loch Ard is also a good place for wild camping, which is legal throughout Scotland.”
