Drug Possession Fees facing teenagers – Port City Daily

Wilmington – a teenager was arrested after the Wilmington Police Department began stopping traffic on Thursday.

Law enforcement agencies arrest 18-year-old Mecchy Newkirk on numerous accusations of possession of drugs and trafficking. It was stopped in a 500 block of Maides Avenue.

Newkirk is accused of possessing marijuana, possession of drugs and trafficking in opium or heroin. It is currently being held at the NHSO detention center under a $ 200,000 bond.
