Students participate in a financial literacy workshop – KGNS

Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – Students at Nixon High School received a life lesson on how to manage their money for the future.

On Thursday, February 6, as part of a partnership with Larendo ISD, a treasurer of web Raoul Reyes County held a financial literacy of 101 elderly workshop.

The course went over the budget, the construction of loans, the prevention of fraud and how to save and invest your money. One present by the seminar Manuel Gomez believes that all young adults should be financially reasonable before graduating from high school.

Today, Nixon was the second of the four schools to receive the presentation. Rayes hopes to expand the financial literacy program in every public, private and charter school in a web district.
