Teen arrested for first-degree murder at the age of 14: TPD-FOX 13 TAMPA

Tampa, flag. – A 15-year-old boy is faced with a first-degree murder charges after Tampa police claim to have shot and killed a 14-year-old on Wednesday.

The story:

According to the Tampa police station, the confrontation began while Armando Gilbert and another minor drove N. Hillsborough LN bikes. He approaches E. Juno Saint shortly before 6:00 pm Wednesday.

TPD said Maritz Lee was at the intersection of Gilbert, then approached Gilbert and shot him repeatedly before leaking. Gilbert died in the hospital.

Employees, together with the US Marshal Task Force, arrested Lee on Thursday night, police said.

Detectives said Lee and Gilbert knew each other and had disputes before the shooting.
