Looking for a surprise in the Championship promotion race, Mansfield Town will welcome the league leaders Birmingham City to the One Call Stadium for a League One clash on Saturday afternoon.
The Stags go into this weekend’s battle on the back of an away win on Tuesday night, while the pace-setting Blues made light work of Bolton Wanderers in the Second City.
We say: Mansfield Town 1-2 Birmingham City
Despite being a newly promoted side, Mansfield are set to pose a major threat on Saturday afternoon after their stellar start to the League One campaign.
Birmingham will dominate the ball at the One Call Stadium and with Stansfield potentially back in the XI, they should be able to record their third league success on the bounce.

Reading will look to pick up a third straight win when they host Bristol Rovers to the Select Car Stadium for Saturday’s League One fixture.
The visitors will be looking to secure a second consecutive victory after prevailing Town of Shrewsbury in the middle of the week.
We say: Reading 3-1 Bristol Rovers
Reading have won five of their six home games this season, while Bristol Rovers have lost four of their last five away games in the third tier.
With that in mind, we think the Royals will take full advantage of home advantage to take all three points from Saturday’s game.

Bolton Wanderers will look to bounce back from their midweek defeat when they host Peterborough United in Saturday’s League 1 match.
Unlike their hosts, Peterborough will be in good spirits after beating Blackpool at home on Tuesday.
We say: Bolton Wanderers 2-1 Peterborough United
Bolton may have suffered disappointment in their midweek away clash with Birmingham, but they have won two of their last three home games in the league and we reckon they will get another home win against a Peterborough side who have lost each of their previous three away games.

No manager Burton Albion will travel to the Abbey Stadium for Saturday’s League One clash with the relegation rivals Cambridge United.
The hosts are sinking at the foot of the First League tablewhile the visitors are just three points better in 23rd place.
We say: Cambridge United 2-1 Burton Albion
Cambridge will have a renewed sense of belief after recording back-to-back wins and we reckon they will continue to build momentum by claiming a narrow win at home to condemn their relegation rivals to a seventh consecutive league defeat.

Wrexham will look to extend their three-match league unbeaten run when they travel to the Valley for Saturday’s clash with Charlton Athletic.
The Red Dragons are second in the First League tablewhile the visitors will head into the weekend in 11th position.
We say: Charlton Athletic 2-2 Wrexham
Wrexham may be in second place but they have won just one of their last four away games in the league and we reckon they may have to settle for a point when they face a Charlton side who have drawn in their previous two match against Stockport and Barnsley.

At a level of 19 points in the top six of First League table, Huddersfield Town and Exeter City will battle it out in an important contest at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.
The hosts returned to the top of the division with a win and a draw after the October international break, ahead of their visitors, who saw a five-match unbeaten run end on Tuesday.
We say: Huddersfield Town 1-0 Exeter City
Exeter City have shown their quality in the early stages of the League One campaign, particularly at the back, but having regained some momentum, Huddersfield Town should have enough to send their visitors to the John Smith’s Stadium.

Lincoln City and Stockport County meet at Sincil Bank on Saturday afternoon to end their poor run of form in the First League table.
These two teams fell to 10th and 9th respectively after the international break in October, failing to win a single game.
We say: Lincoln City 1-1 Stockport County
With Stockport unbeaten on their travels this season, they deserve respect ahead of this fixture. This leads us to back a low-scoring tie between two teams who will be looking to avoid falling further out of the play-offs.

Two sides are fighting at the bottom of the First League table will meet on Saturday afternoon when Northampton Town host City of Crawley at Sixfields Stadium.
The hosts are 19th in the standings with 12 points from 11 games, while the visitors are 21st with 10 points from their first 12 league games.
We say: Northampton Town 2-1 Crawley Town
Although Crawley impressed in their recent victory, Northampton are in much better form for this game and as they also boast the home advantage, we expect the home side to win here.

I want to end a three game winless streak in the third tier, Rotherham United I will welcome Stevenage at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday afternoon in League One.
The Millers suffered a minimal defeat on the road at Leyton Orient earlier this week as Boro endured a difficult night at home to relegation-threatened Cambridge United.
We say: Rotherham United 2-1 Stevenage
Rotherham have only dropped points against Wrexham in their last three home games in all competitions, so we expect a competent performance from the Millers this weekend.
Stevenage’s confidence would have taken a serious hit after the midweek loss to Cambridge on home soil, meaning we can’t imagine Boro taking anything tangible from their trip to South Yorkshire.

Relegation-threatened Shrewsbury Town welcome Barnsley to New Meadow for Saturday’s League One clash.
The hosts languish in League One relegation zonewhile the visitors are currently in eighth position.
We say: Shrewsbury Town 1-2 Barnsley
Shrewsbury will be low on confidence after losing nine of their 13 league games this season and we feel their difficult campaign will continue with a disappointing result at the weekend as we expect Barnsley to have the qualities to claim victory by a narrow margin distance.

In a potentially pivotal clash at both ends of the table, Wycombe Wanderers are set to host Leyton Orient at Adams Park in their 12th First League match of the season.
Wycombe are third on 23 points and just five points off leaders Birmingham City with a game in hand, while the visitors are fifth last on 11 points in 20th place and just one place and one point above the relegation zone .
We say: Wycombe Wanderers 3-0 Leyton Orient
Given the contrasting seasons so far for both sides, it is hard to see how Leyton Orient can avoid defeat on Saturday.
If Wycombe score first then it would be no surprise if they beat the visitors comfortably.
