Brookings – Strong Middle Quarters have lifted the Bruckings Girls’ Basketball Team over Siu Falls Lincoln on Thursday night.

Brukings lags 9-7 at the end of the first quarter. Bobcats then ahead of the Patriots 22-13 in the second quarter and led 29-22 leads in the dressing room. The success continued in the third quarter, as Bruckings had an advantage of 22-5 in the third and had a 51-27 lead in the fourth. Lincoln surpassed Bruckings 12-9 in the final frame.

Bruckings fired 36.5% of the terrain and was 11-on-32 out of three. The beans were led by Macy even, which had 17 points. Logan Smid had 13 points and five rebounds. Sloan McLapan had 11 points.

Lincoln fired 29.2% of the terrain and was 6 in 15 out of three. The Patriots were led by Kiera Lyubovic, who had 21 points and nine fights.

The Patriots won the bounce battle 37-32. Bruckings was 11 on 14 on the free throw line, and Lincoln was 11 to 14. Bobcats had 14 rpm and Patriots had 15.

Brukings is now 9-5 and hosts Sioux Falls Roosevelt on Tuesday from 7pm
