Read the meeting of the Prosecutor General of the US Prosecutor Merick B. Garland with Commissioner for Justice and Consumers Didier Renders – the Ministry of Justice

Prosecutor General Merick B. Garland hosted the European Union and Consumer Commissioner Commissioner Didier Rinder in Washington, Colombia County yesterday before the US and EU Interior Ministry, which will be held later this month. The two leaders discussed joint efforts to find, restrain, freeze, seize, and, when appropriate, confiscate or withdraw the assets of individuals and entities in connection with the unjust and hassle -free war of aggression against Ukraine. They also discussed how to best support continuing war crimes investigations related to Russian aggression towards Ukraine. Prosecutor General Garland and Commissioner Rander have confirmed shared priorities in counteracting terrorism, violent extremism and hatred crimes and discussed the possibilities of strengthening the US -EU cooperation in the fight against environmental crime and consumer protection.
