Metrolink arrow service for just 1 dollar in February and March – Redlands City News

Customers will be able to get on the Metrolink arrow service for just 1 dollar in February and March and travel with a trip between each combination of nine -mile arrow stations connecting the cities of San Bernardino and Redlands. This limited promotion, which has become possible in partnership with the Transport Authority of San Bernardino County (SBCTA), is exclusive for the arrow service and does not extend to other parts of the Metrolink system, including the nearby San Bernardino stations.

“Metrolink and SBCTA have a long history of a partnership for transport solutions that are beneficial for the communities of San Bernardino County,” said the Director of the Metrolink board, the chairman of the SBCTA board and the member of the CHINO Hills Ray Marquez Municipal Council. “Comparing the $ 1 dollar rates for the Arrow service is another victory for our residents. This is a deal for those who use Arrow a regular and great opportunity for newcomers to see firsthand how the system can connect them with work, school, family and more. “

The discount tariff is maintained by grant through the Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP), which is administered by Caltrans. While the promotion is active, students with a valid student identification number may continue to use Arrow free of charge with Metrolink’s student adventure pass. In addition, children 17 years old and under ride free of charge on weekends with paid adult, which makes family trips more accessible and comfortable.

Arrow launched in October 2022 and serves five stations: University Redlands, Redlands-Downtown, Redlands-Enceri, San Bernardino-Typeroe and San Bernardino-Downtown, where Motorcyclers can connect to Last Monday, January 27, Metrolink presented an updated arrow schedule to be aligned with the changes implemented simultaneously on the San Bernardino line. Arrow tickets can be purchased on ticket machines for the station or through the Metrolink mobile app, and customers can be transferred to the Omnitrans system free of charge to the San Bernardino Center station. For information on other connecting transit suppliers, riders are encouraged to visit the Transit Center of San Bernardino.
