Cold Warning comes into force when temperatures fall – Irvine Times

Ice patches are likely to develop in the coming days, which may be a danger, especially overnight.

Yellow Cold’s health alerts have been issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) for a number of areas in England, including northeast, northwest, Yorkshire and Humber and southeast from 9 am on Friday to 9am on Tuesday.

This means that time is likely to lead to increased use of health services by vulnerable people and a greater risk to the lives of vulnerable people.

Stephen Dixon, a Met Office spokesman, said: “What we see with the UK time over the next few days is the impact of high pressure and the development of the South East airflow, which will see that temperatures have fallen for many.

“We could see that temperatures drop as low as minus 7c in the countryside of Scotland from Friday over the weekend.

“In the south, we are still likely to see under the weekend sub-naming temperatures.

“The village parts of South Wales can reach minus 4c from Friday night over the weekend.”

Dickson said it would be a “cold period”, but not “historically remarkable”.

Daily temperatures will be “slightly below” the average for February, which is 7C, he said.

Dickson continued: “February started warming than the average, so it will return to the more typical average February, albeit a little more cold.

“From Friday there is a chance to snow in parts of the southern part of England and South Wales, but this is relatively short -lived, not expected to be influential at the moment.”

He said that a higher place in South Wales could see a few inches of snow.

Saturday will probably be a gray day for many, drier north, but rain for many in the southern part of England, while the showers will continue on Sunday, but it will be a little drier, according to the Dixon.

There is also a chance for winter showers on Monday, which is something that Met Office follows, said G -n Dixon.
