The Bishop Auckland Pyromusical, brought to residents by the Kynren team, is a 25-minute firework show set to music taking place on 2 November 2024.
There are also fire pits and a dining area to make the most of while enjoying a mesmerizing evening outdoors.
Introducing its Bonfire Night exposure guide, the publisher shared: “What we in Britain now call Bonfire Night or Guy Fawkes Night commemorates something much darker.
“November 5 marks the anniversary of the foiled Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when a band of Catholic conspirators led by Robert Catesby planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London and kill (Protestant) King James I for refusing to grant religious toleration to Catholics.”

It added: “Fast-forward four centuries and we’re still here, burning effigies of Fawkes on bonfires and cooing at pyrotechnic displays that nod to the explosives that could have killed the king.”
“While some events now feature bespoke musical soundtracks, lasers and even drone displays, others continue centuries-old traditions, from Lewes and Rye’s flame torch parades to Ottery St Mary’s flaming tar barrels.”
