Reporter, Topeka resident dies while appointed to Super Bowl – Wibw

Topeka, Kan. (WIBW)-The investigation opened for the death of 27-year-old reporter Adan Manzano, who covered the Super Bowl in New Orleans for Telemundo Kansas City.

According to a social media publication from Telemundo KC, Manzano, a resident of Topeka, died on Wednesday, February 5th. Manzano was on an assignment to cover Super Bowl for Telemundo and Tico Sports.

Manzano was described as a rising star that was dedicated. Telemundo added that he was an exceptional professional and that his talent reflects the perfection in his work.

His wife was Ashley Lean Boyd, who was killed in a two-storey crash, April 11, 2024, in the 7800 block on SW 53 in Topeka. She was a teacher at elementary school.

Manzano is a local native of Mexico City, who received a degree from the State University of Kansas.
