Frazier asks the federal vessel to block the use of nitrogen gas

Alabama authorized the use of nitrogen gas in 2018 and the state performed the first prisoner in the United States during January 2024, using the Kenneth Smith method. After Smith, Alabama administered two more executions of nitrogen gas in September and November.
