A snowy white side of miracles, filled with mysterious creatures, good, evil and greed – sounds familiar?

No, this is not the capital in January the weeks of the Legislative Committee. This is the background of the production of this weekend at Narnia: The Lion, The Wardrobe by his dance company, a newly built Christian dance studio, directed by a young Talahasi native and a recent graduate of Florida.

On Friday, the show’s opening night, more than 30 dancers and two professional performers from the balanced ballet based in Georgia, will fill the scene for the company’s first original ballet production, reviving CS Lewis’s work for one purpose.

“Narnia” invites us to open our imagination in a fictional land of bright images, a fascinating allegory and an indisputable gospel parallel, “says Sarah Schaper in its owner and director of her image. “Our hope is to leave the audience with life-saving truths about the real world-human sinfulness, the work of Christ and our great heritage as God’s children.”

When he was a child, Schape dreamed that one day a dance studio would start. In the summer of 2020, during the closure of the Covid-19 business and while she was still in college, this dream began to come to fruition when mothers began to ask her for dance lessons for their daughters. It started with only eight dancers in the church’s reserve room, but this number only tripled in its first year.

“With such a rapid growth, it became clear so early that God calls me to take a step of faith and officially open in His image dance studio,” said Shapar.

In 2023, in his image, he moved to the most modern facility with two dance studios and instructors qualified in dance disciplines of any type. Now, more than four years later, she gladly brings a ballet for the whole height on stage for the first time with some of the dancers who have been with her from the beginning.

Student dancer Laura Green plays Susan Pevensi, the second el-one of four brothers and sisters at the center of Narnia’s history. “The play of Susan’s role was an incredible experience for me and showed me a lot about how to act and bring the story to my dance,” Green said.

The production also has original music from the composer -based composer, Zack Thomas. His music piece for ballet, “The Lulpid Song of the Faun,” makes a sound on the stage in Lewis’s book, where Lucy Pevensi enters the cave of G -N Interius and learns of his grip on the Evil Witch.

“(Decision’s decision to reject the witch’s devices causes us to walk with courage and faith, even when the immediate result seems uncertain,” said Thomas.

The audience has two options to browse the show, Friday night or Saturday afternoon at Chiles High Auditorium, 7200 Lawton Chiles Lane. For more information, visit www.inhisimagedstudio.com.
