Texas AG requires Trans athlete documents in Dallas, Irving ISDS after conflicting videos – Kera News

Texas General Prosecutor Ken Paxon asks Dallas and Irving Isd to transfer their policies related to the state law on transgender athletes in public school News Thursday News Message.

Bill 25, adopted in 2021, says that students in public schools can only compete in a sport in accordance with their biological sex appointed at birth.

In the letters, Paxton asks the regions to provide documents related to compliance with HB25 and communications on “determining the admissibility of a student to participate in inter -salty sports on the basis of sex”.

Paxton quoted hiddenly recorded videos that have recently appeared, reporting that employees in the two areas asking questions from people who claim to be the parents of transgender children. In possibly false scenarios, “parents” asked about the alleged participation of their students in school sports.

The answers from the school staff in the videos do not seem to stick to the HB25, as it is written.

These videos are not provided by AG and have not been seen or validated by KERA.

ISD ISD administrator, which is said to be shown in one of the videos submitted after governor Greg Abat has asked for the employee to be fired on the spot.

The area told Kera in a statement on Thursday that Irving ISD would comply with any documentation request “initiated by the relevant authorities”.

“We can confirm that all Irve students participate in their sport in accordance with the sex, which were appointed at birth,” the statement said.

Kera also asked for a comment from Dallas ISD.
