Lubbock High’s Gunnar Hansen and Emery Fox named AJ Athletes of the Week – AOL

Gunnar Hansen, So., Lubbock High

Gunnar Hansen brought home a pair of bronze medals at last week’s UIL Class 5A state swim meet. The Lubbock High sophomore placed third in the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley. He collected 65.54% of the vote to win the athlete of the week honor.

Emery Fox, So., Lubbock High

Lubbock High sophomore Emery Fox also had a solid day at the state swim meet, placing second in the 200 individual medley. She received 45.69% of the vote to be named Sportswoman of the Week.
