Commanders hire former coaches of special teams of 49ers Brian Schneider – Sports Illustrated

This is very intriguing.

This week, Washington commanders hired Brian Schneider to be their assistant coach of special teams according to Jonathan Jones of CBS. Schneider was the coach of the Special Teams of 49ers from 2022 to 2024 until he was fired a few weeks ago. 49ers had perhaps the biggest special teams in NFL and eventually accused Schneider.

After the 49s fired Schneider, chief trainer Kyle Shanhan admitted that Schneider was created to fail.

“The loss of a kick, the loss of his player when the injuries affect the list, especially the insult and defensive what affected the most, were special teams and I think.” S And you can’t change all the work, so Brian is after all the autumn man for that and I really appreciate it. He had a really good three years here and worked with his tail and was very loyal to us and he was a very good coach and he would bounce to his feet and we will go against him soon, I’m sure. And all that is part of football is extremely important to us. “

Initially, 49ers hired Schneider to replace Richard Hitower, the first coordinator of special teams Shanahan and John Lynch rented and fired. I guess the former 49ER assistant manager Adam Peters brought Schneider to 49rs.

And now Peters has brought Schneider to the commanders. As you probably know, Peters became a Washington General Manager last year and helped improve them from a five -profile team in a 12 -profit team that lost the NFC championship game. Obviously, he does not think Schneider was the problem of 49rs.

To improve in special teams, 49ERS will need better players, not a better coach.
