Lake Tahoe Aleworx, a popular craft beer, known for its wood pizzas, has opened a new place in the Reno brewery.

“This is part of our plan for a long time,” Luka Genassi, founder of Taho Alevorks Lake, told RGJ on Monday. “We are glad to get to Renault, where there is a larger base than the population in support of the business.”

Aleworx has two other places in South Lake Tahoe, where patronage is highly seasonal due to extreme winter conditions.

His most addition to 324 E. Fourth St. Open on Thursday, January 30, in a building that previously housed record street brewing. Unlike your Tahoe places, Aleworx will prepare your own beer on the spot.

What does the fourth location on the street of Lake Taho Alevorks uniquely?

The location of the fourth street also offers several new amenities – including the deck of the roof with a full bar and an attachment and dancing space in Alpine.

Aleworx is aimed at the Reno student crowd with cowboy country in the evening every Thursday, which will have live music, dance and drink. The happy hour runs from 4pm to 6pm from Monday to Friday with a stream of $ 5 and well cocktails at $ 6.

Challenges and revive in the brewery in Renault

Being in the brewery has its own set of challenges – this section of fourth street has a large population of homeless.

“Some of the feuds and homelessness, it makes the public uncomfortable,” Genasi said. He hopes that the constant efforts to improve the area will help people feel more comfortable.

Genasci says they have invested in security and in building relationships with the neighboring business, some of which have been told that they hope that adding Aleworx is “Domino, which sends the area in a really positive direction.”

Genasci’s original plan for Aleworx was to be a manufacturing facility for the brand of craft beer on Tahoe Lake, but changed early, instead caused them to open firewood boards.

“When we came across this property on Fourth Street, it was really interesting because there was a brewing facility,” Genasi said. “So, my partners and I were like ‘Wow, we may come to Renault. Make the entertainment, but on a larger scale. Bring our dynamic atmosphere with the deck of the roof and then carry it in a full circle to where we started. “

Aleworx currently offers Tahoe Cold IPA, Tahoe Hazy IPA and Tahoe Crushable Lager, which are prepared on the spot. The brewers are available on the draft or canned food.

“Everything we cook is designed to be drinking but aggressively refreshing,” he said.
