Preview: Mavericks Close Road Trip with the Finals “Revival” against Celtics – Sports Illustrated

Dallas Maverix closed his five-game trip against Boston Celtics on Thursday night, and both teams look a little different, since the last time these teams met only 12 days ago in Dallas. Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber, Quentin Grims and Mariff Morris are gone; Anthony Davis, Max Christie and Caleb Martin are inside. Jaden Springer has also disappeared from the Celtic, but he doesn’t play much for them.

It’s hard to call it a rematch of the NBA finals when Doncic is no longer even on Mavericks, and Anthony Davis is. And it’s hard to say that Mavericks fans will be as much in this game as it was two weeks ago. This is the trade of the city icon of Fenbase.

Dallas is on a losing series of three games, as soon as he launched a heartbeat of Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night, as Joel Embide returned after missing a month to put a triple-pair at 29 points, and Maxi had 33 points. This helped them to overcome 34 points from Kiri Irving and five other Mavs that score double figures. Anthony Davis could make his Mavericks debut on Thursday night, which would help them very much.

Boston is a winning series of four games, as soon as he defeated Cleveland Cavaliers on the road on Tuesday night in what the Eastern Conference finals could be reviewed. Derrick White shoots 6/12 from Deep to carry them to this victory, and he shoots 46.8% of a three -point scope in his last five games. The Celtic bombards away from three, something Dallas is not well equipped to cope recently.

Dallas has lost five straight games in Boston, including all three NBA finals last season. And Kiri Irving has not played well in Boston historically since she left there a few years ago.
