The Dell Rapids National Guard veteran has headed for Super Bowl – Dakota News now

DELL RAPIDS, SD (Dakota News Now) – the wide receiver of Minnesota Vikings Justin Jefferson, in collaborative efforts with the USAA and US veterans with disabilities, Dell Rapids veteran trip to Super Bowl on Sunday in New Orley.

Staff sergeant Kim Huber was the chosen trip recipient and told Dakota News now that he was super grateful for the recognition he received from Jefferson.

“We are not joining so that we can receive recognition so that we can get special events or special things. We have joined because we want to help other people, we want to help your country, we want to serve. So what I said to my children on the way here was that the things that come to me in my life are these beautiful things are not because I am selfish or want them. This is because I serve with a pure heart and when you serve people who come back to you, “Hubers said.

Parker Brown will share more of Hubers history on Thursday night at 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
