Teenager and woman arrested after the man stabbed in Northampton – Irvine Times

According to police in Northamponshire, the 29-year-old victim received a stab wound in the chest after an attack by Monarch Road, right near Kingshorpe Road, between 6:30 pm and 6.45 pm on Wednesday.

The paramedics attended the scene and the victim was taken to Coventry & Warwickshire University Hospital, where he underwent an emergency surgery. He is said to be in a stable condition.

Police said armed officials arrested a 17-year-old at Lutterworth Road, and the suspect was detained in a Balfour Road property.

Internship detective inspector Colin Bowers of the Northamptonshire Police Investigation Division said: “Two people have been arrested in connection with this attack, but our investigations have continued well in the evening and will continue today.

“It was a very serious attack in which the victim suffered life -threatening injuries, and we appeal to witnesses to go out, including anyone who may have footage or footage from the door from the area around the attack.

“Anyone who has information is called to call the police at 101, citing an incident 455 from 05/02/2025.”
