Officer in North Las Vegas, killed in an identified shootout – FOX 5 Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – Police in North Las Vegas have identified the officer fatally killed in the duty on Tuesday afternoon.

Police officers in North Las Vegas responded to reports of a man with a gun near Lone Mountain and Camino al Norte.

When the officers approached the suspect, the meeting soon followed.

NLVPD has identified the officer as 46-year-old Jason Roskov, who was shot and killed.

Roskov started working with the department in 2007. He worked in various departments of the department, including traffic and patrol operations.

Officials claim that the fallen officer is recognized by an example service award.
