Florida man suspected of murder, hit in West Baton Rouge – WBRZ

Port Allen – a man thought to be related to Sarassota, Florida. The murder was arrested in the parish of West Baton Rouge earlier Wednesday, authorities said.

The 41 -year -old Jalma Gordon of Sarasota was detained shortly before 1 am stopping the movement by West Batton Rouge’s sheriff’s deputies.

Sarasota police said they had booked Gordon with the murder at the night of a woman whose identity had not yet been released. She was found dead around 8:00 pm Tuesday in her apartment. Police who went to the welfare apartment say he is a victim of “murderous violence.”
