Pedestrian strokes killed by car in northwestern Las Vegas – Fox 5 Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police said a pedestrian was killed in the northwestern valley on Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 5:30 on Durango and Corbett Street, near a tropical park.

According to police, a 24-year-old was driving Honda north along Durango, approaching Corbett. At the same moment, the pedestrian was on the lane near the intersection outside the intersection.

The crash happened when the pedestrian entered the Honda path. The driver reached a controlled stop.

Medical arrived and said the pedestrian had died at the scene. The driver was not disturbed, police say.

“The death of pedestrians marks the 21st traffic rates associated with traffic in the jurisdiction of the Las Vegas Police Department for 2025,” police said. “The clash remained in an investigation from the investigation section of the Collision of the Sofia Police Department in Las Vegas.”
