Two men were charged after a feud between neighbors escalating in a shootout, which last year left three dead in front of a home in the Merideale neighborhood of Baton Rouge.

A specially large jury has charged Dominic Charles Franklin on three second-degree murder charges and officially accused Tyrone Eackles with three charges of murder, according to the district court’s 19th court area.

The 20 -year -old Franklin will be appointed by JDC Commissioner Jermein Gilory on March 10th. He is confronted with a compulsory life sentence if he is convicted of any of the indictments.

Akley pleaded innocent when he was appointed on Friday, and district judge Fred Cryphase set his $ 450,000 warranty. Eackles can be sentenced to 40 years for any murder count.

The accusations stem from shooting on September 27 in Benson Drive 5600 block.

Initially, Eackles was reserved on a first -degree census census. Prosecutors said evidence in the case was justified by the indictments of murder.
