Irvine police are trying to identify a man who charged more than $4K on stolen credit cards

The Irvine Police Department is trying to identify a man who was caught on surveillance video charging more than $4,000 in Visa gift cards using stolen credit cards.

The credit cards were taken from the victim’s wallet, which was in the center console of his unlocked car.

The suspect was wearing a black Coach t-shirt, black shorts and white and black tennis shoes. He had an Edgar style haircut, white ears, glasses, a mustache and a goatee. He had a light complexion of indeterminate race and a thin build. He looks pretty proud of himself in the surveillance footage.

Crime Prevention Tip: Always remember Lock or Lose. Secure your vehicle’s door and window locks, even if you’re leaving for a short time. Never leave valuables in plain sight in your vehicle.
