DC Results, The Washington Spirit and the Clark Foundation launch the initiative for the football league of high school – Washington Spirit

Washington, Colombia County (02/05/2025)Washington’s spirit and A. James and Alice B. Clark Foundation have united in a new initiative to improve programming for medium -sized students participating in programs provided by non -profit award -winning DC.

The Clark Foundation makes a significant investment in DC results by funding its football leagues for girls, boys and odds. These leagues are part of the non -profit program after a school that serves more than 3,500 children. The initiative will also prioritize the girls ‘participation in DC ratings, with Spirit Washington serving as a representative of the girls’ league.

The announcement was made for national girls and women on the day of sports (February 5), which celebrates the achievements of women athletes and inspires girls and women to play and be active.

The DC Scores serves over 3,500 young people in 68 DC schools through its football, poetry and after -school service. The program, offered five days a week after school, with no cost to participants known as “poet-athletes”, includes weekly days of league games, tournaments, elements and festivals of the Community.

The DC Scores and Washington Spirit have formed a formal partnership in the community in 2020 to promote the girls’ participation in sports. Through partnership, the poet-athletes are associated with vocational role models for players, visit Spirit Home Matches to see their characters in action and take advantage of the opportunities for training with Spirit players and athletic staff dedicated to leading sports innovations of women and athletic resultsS

The Clark Foundation’s investment will fund weekly games in the league, called professional referees at some of the leading DC football sites. The spirit will host clinics led by the club’s athletic staff, for poets in the girls ‘league, and will provide enhanced technical training for the coaches of the girls’ team. Any middle school league girl will also be able to attend the Spirit of 2025 in the DC DC Young Fans section of Audi Field.
