Inside the numbers: Studying the surprising NFL City ranking of Dallas – Talk 1340

Let’s talk about football! We already know that cowboys are a “America team” (even if the rest of the country does not always agree). But according to Wallethub’s most ranked ranking, Dallas May threw himself on the field -but this is one of the best cities of NFL in America!

That’s right – Big D entered #2, only behind Pittsburgh. Now, if you are a fan of cowboys, you might think, “Wait, what? How did a team that was not in a superboul as 90s land so high?!? “

Well, Wallethub not only ranks cities based on recent success. They look at things like ticket prices, fan engagement, team history and social media. And let’s be real – Cowboys fans are everywhere and loyal! They may not have lifted the Lombardi trophy for decades, but their brand is still greater than anyone else in the league. Estimated at $ 10.1 billion to be accurate.

But here’s where things get a little strange – Houston didn’t even break the top 10. In fact, they didn’t even make the top 20.

Yup while Dallas sits comfortably on #2, Houston is at #25. O. Even Philadelphia, a city that has just made its second Super Bowl for three years, ranked only the 22nd place.

Meanwhile, Kansas City, home to former Texas Tech Red Raider Patrick Mahomes and five appearances in Super Bowl for six years, has been ranked fifth. Do it makes sense!

Here are the full 10 NFL cities according to Wallethub:

  1. Pittsburgh (yes, the other team in Pennsylvania. I’m sorry, fans of the eagles.)
  2. Dallas (take a bow, cowboys nation.)
  3. Green Bay (because Packers fans are basically a religion.)
  4. Boston (Brady may be gone, but the inheritance remains.)
  5. Kansas City (Patrick Mahomes Effect.)
  6. San Francisco (another appearance of Super Bowl helps.)
  7. New York (Jets and Giants? I’m not sure of this one.)
  8. New Orleans (Who Dat Nation forever.)
  9. Los Angeles (maybe because of LA’s population?)
  10. Minneapolis (the Vikings have not earned everything yet, but their fans appear.)
