Nevada withdraws in the second half against the Air Force to win her second straight basketball game – Reno Gazette Journal

Nevada pulled away in the second half and went out with 74-60 over the Air Force at the Men’s Basketball College on Tuesday night, in Colorado Springs, Coloras.

The wolf pack exceeded the Falcons 44-32 in the second half to win its second straight game.

Nick Davidson scored the highest 25 points, 23 in the second half, and Kobe Sanders has 21, as Nevada improved to 5-7 in the Mountain West, as a whole 13-10. Davidson’s 25 points were two of his highest career.

It was Nevada’s second victory this season.

Ethan Taylor led the Falcons with 15 points, Wesley Selichovski added 13, and Luke Kiri had 11 as they fell to 0-12 in the mountain west, 3-20 as a whole.

Key statistics

Nevada shoots 26 out of 50 of the pitch and 7 to 18 of the rainbow. The Air Force shoots 19-on-41 from the pitch, 9 to 21 from the rainbow.

The package exceeded the falcons, 24-20, in the paint.

Nevada struck 15-from-22 of the free throws, while the falcons were 13 to 19 from the stripes.

The Air Force had 16 turnover, up to seven for Nevada, and the Wolf package turned those into 26 points.

Both teams had 27 rebounds.

Tres Coleman did not make the trip to Colorado Springs.

First half

Nevada led, 30-28, on the break, after making 14 on 29 of the pitch, 2 out of 10 of the 3-point scope in the first half.

The package exceeded the falcons 14-10 in the paint in the first half.

Nevada abandoned 17-8 at the beginning of the game.

The Air Force had 10 turnover in the first half, up to four for Nevada, and the package turned those into 17 points.

Forward

Fresno State plays Nevada on Monday at the Lawlor events center. The Council has been set for 20:00

The bulldogs played the state of San Jose later Tuesday night.
