Silicon Valley Scion, arrested on suspicion of rape in the center of SF – San Francisco Standard

It is unclear how the police described a carcaker as a suspect. Eric Safir, a Carkar lawyer, declined to comment. San Francisco’s chronicle first reported its arrest.

Karkar is CEO of Eras Holdings, an investment company based in San Francisco, which “participates in a wide range of investment activities”. California business documents list a home address at the port of Marina as an office of the company, which is also owned by AMK Trust III.

Carkar is the son of the late Edward Carkar, described in an obituary in 2013 as a Palestinian refugee who, after visiting Stanford and UC Berkeley, founded the Telecommunication Company Karkar Electronics. The company supplies NATO equipment, the Ministry of Defense, Raytheon and AT&T, according to the obituary.

“Edward Carkar was considered a pioneer of the Silicon Valley, raising a generation of leaders of technology and entrepreneurs, and laying foundations for the fertile environment that exists today,” the obituary said.

Karkar’s mother is Natalia Makarova, a ballerina, born of Russia, who, according to a British, is “considered one of the greatest classical dancers.”

The San Francisco District Prosecutor’s Office did not respond immediately when he asked him if he was planning to charge.
