During a debate on the new episode of The Gibert Arenas Show, Arenas and his co-hosts began discussing the greatness of Anthony Davis and where he ranks all-time against the other Los Angeles Lakers big men.

Things got interesting when Dwight Howard floated the idea that Davis is better than Lakers legend Pau Gasol.

Arenas was quick to say that Davis is a bigger man than Gasol.

“If you don’t have it over Gasol, then there’s something wrong with you,” Arenas said via NBACentral video.

It was then pointed out to Arenas that Gasol had won a championship.

In fact, he won two.

But Arenas was quick to question who he won with, suggesting that Gasol had a huge assist from teammate and friend Kobe Bryant.

However, everyone else on the panel then pointed out that Davis also has a huge assist of his own because he won his championship with LeBron James.

This is a very tough question and will get a lot of Lakers fans talking because both Gasol and Davis have done great things for the Lakers.

Gasol did win more championships, but that doesn’t take away from Davis’ greatness.

Plus, there’s still a chance Davis can win one more chip before he retires.

Gasol averaged a career-high 17 points and 9.2 rebounds and was a six-time All-Star, Rookie of the Year and Hall of Famer.

Davis, meanwhile, has career averages of 24.1 points and 10.6 rebounds so far and is a nine-time All-Star and three-time blocks champion.

In the end, it doesn’t matter who is better because they are both incredible pieces of Lakers history.
