Vape stores are attacked in Virginia Beach.

The News 3 revealed a problem that several local companies are dealing with.

A local owner who did not want to be identified shows us a security video for two people who check the front of the Vape Store near the WitchDuck Road in Virginia Beach. Moments later you see them return with a rock and throw it on the window, causing damage.

The owner said he was disappointed with what was happening.

An employee at another store told us: “They spray painted cameras and legally just break through the door … My bosses had to sleep here in the summer because it was so bad. This happened once a month, after which it started to happen twice a month. ”

News 3 went to several Vape stores to learn more. They were shown where the criminals recently tried to break through, with visible damage to the windows of several stores.

“The criminals here are not very complicated. They find a scheme and think they have found a soft goal, “says Richard James, a crime analyst who has been working as a detective for more than 30 years.

Virginia Beach Crime Solvers has issued a warning and shared images of people who think they are responsible for different burglary at VAPE stores.

Our investigative team revealed a search order that gives details of the crimes. It says that between August and November there were nine breakthroughs in five different places not far from Independence Boulevard. The owners and employees we talked to said there were even more thefts than that.
