2 cats killed in fire on a sleepy hollow driving – wafb

East Baton Rouge Parish, La. (Wafb) – Fire took the life of two cats on Sleepy Hollow Drive in the parish of East Baton Rouge.

According to St. George’s fire department, the fire happened on Friday night, January 31.

The crews reacted on stage shortly before 20:00 and found smoke coming from home. They immediately began to fight the flames.

Firefighters also spoke with the homeowner who told them that the fire had started in the dryer of the home and that its cats were still inside.

The flames were extinguished within 20 minutes.

No person is injured, but cats do not survive.

Investigators have confirmed that the fire started in the home dryer.

The Red Cross was called to help the displaced homeowner.
