A drug investigation lands behind bars in parish east Baton Rouge, MPs say – wafb

East Baton Rouge Parish, La. (WAFB) – A man was arrested after a drug investigation, which took place in January, MPs said.

According to sheriff of sheriff East Baton Rouge, the man Robert Gordon, 35, is facing numerous accusations. He was removed on Tuesday, February 4th.

During the investigation, agents conducted many hours of monitoring at Gordon’s home, MPs said. They added that they were also able to make a controlled purchase of Methamphetamine from Gordon.

After Gordon’s arrest, agents have executed a search order at his home, according to Ebro. Authorities said they had seized the following items:

  • 4.36 ounces powder cocaine
  • 31.4 grams of cracking cocaine
  • 26.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine
  • 1.2 grams of fentanyl (5 dosage pills)
  • 2.28 ounces of marijuana
  • 62.7 grams THC wax
  • 9.7 grams of synthetic THC paper
  • (224) Dosage units of buprenorphine
  • (20) Dosage units of tramadol
  • (2) digital scales
  • Drug cutting agent
  • (13) live 9mm rounds of ammunition
  • (21) live 32 rounds of ammunition
  • $ 9296.00
  • Canik, TP-9, Semiauto 9mm Pistol

During Gordon’s interview with law enforcement agencies, he admitted that he was selling cocaine and crystal methamphetamine found in his home, MPs said. They added that he also admitted that all the drugs found in the home belonged to him and that he was selling drugs for two to three months.

Gordon was also arrested previously by state police in Louisiana in 2023 on many charges, according to authorities. They said the case remained active and that Gordon was on a relationship.
