Wvu Golf finishes third in the first spring tournament – Wvu Athletics

Morgantown, W.VA. – The Golf of the University of West Virginia took third place of 14 teams in its first spring tournament of the season at the Briar’s Creek battle on Jones Island, South Carolina.

The climbers fired 281-282-290 for their 11-floor score. The NC State won the -19 tournament, followed by the host of Charleston College at -13. WVU finished one place in front of Clemson, Elon and Wake Forest, which all finished in a fourth place at -10.
