Fighting in high school Fremont is worried parents about children’s safety – WTOL

During the dropout of the school bus, five students ranging from sixth to eighth grade fought with each other outside the school for a few minutes.

Fremont, Ohio – just before the doors of the school were opened, a battle broke out last week between students at Fremont high school.

According to a report by the FreMont Police Department, police were notified of a battle, which took place on Thursday morning at high school around 7:30 am.

During the dropout of the school bus, five students ranging from sixth to eighth grade fought with each other for a few minutes before they were eventually separated from an adult. The parent who reached out to worry about the safety of his own child, as the children who descended were not allowed to enter the building at the time.

The Fremont Denice Hirt city school chief assures that there was an adult to divide the match and had resource staff at hand. The chief also told us that they advised the staff not to enter the middle of the battles.

Hirt says there are disciplinary action for those who participate in battles and the area guarantees that both students and teachers are safe during those times.

“There are different disciplines and consequences that are provided when needed,” Hirt said. “Our daily goal is to make sure we have both a positive and a safe environment from the moment students hit the campus to the moment they leave at the end of the day.”

The police report states that two students were stopped for five days and one for three days to combat school property. These children were also arrested for violation of behavior and transported to a minor court and were expecting their court appearances.
