Cross -Roarding solidarity strengthens Smart in Topeka – Smart Union

In Topeka, Kansas, solidarity through transport and sheet, it helped to strengthen our Union-and-forged friendships among Smart-TD and Local 2 (Kansas City) employees.

Smart-Td Go-953 President Luke Edigton explained:

“Our common committee has additional office space, which is used by a business representative from Local 2 for more than 10 years. We also gave office space to an organizer for several years, which focused on the Topeka area.

“I have seen some good business representatives in our office during these years, and the most, Rich Dewani, is star. His devotion, working ethics and leadership are unsurpassed and have brought local numerous members in our area.

“We provide rich full access to all resources from our office (meeting rooms, copying services, etc.) and he uses them for their advantage, which is fantastic. Local host sessions every week, the new members are here a week to talk to Rich, and current members enter to get assistance with problems.

“This is not only for what Rich has done for his siblings of sheet metal, but also for the connection he built with his brothers TD here in the office. We accepted it as one of our own. “
