Permits for the same day – the city of Ervine

The city of Irvine has fulfilled permitsDirectly! Powered by Symbium, a web-based platform that allows you to obtain minor permits for eligible housing and commercial projects immediately.

The platform automatically checks for the correspondence of the code and the issuance of real -time permissions for housing systems for storage of solar and energy. Additional light residential and trade permits for maintenance and replacement are already available. Licensed contractors can apply and pay online for review and plan permits without making a trip to the Irvine Civil Center.

How to apply

When you are ready to apply, click the button for one of the available types of permits in the property improvement section.

Answer a few questions about your proposed project.

Review the analysis provided. Symbium will immediately check to comply with state and local provisions and provide a detailed analysis of whether the project meets the code requirements.

Apply for your authorization and payment fees. Your permission will be issued automatically without a manual review or a personal visit. PermitsDirectly! It will also check contractors and business licenses.

When you’re done, you can schedule your check on one of three ways:

• Inspections can be planned and canceled, and the results of the inspection can be reviewed with the help of our online planning system. To search the online system, simply enter the permit number and click “Search Permits”. When presented with the results of your search, click the appropriate blue permit number in the left column to confirm your choice, then use the drop -down menu options to select your check date and type. Be sure to leave a contact phone number in the comment box. Your inspector will reach out on the day of the inspection to coordinate the time and evaluate the willingness of the project.
