Northbound I -405 in Renton, blocked after the crash – FOX 13 Seattle

Drivers pointed north of the I-405 in Renton should expect delays or take alternative routes as the crews clear the scene of a semiconductor crash and fire on Tuesday morning.

What we know:

The crash happened near the State Road 169 around 4 AM

Washington State Patrol Rick Johnson said traffic deviates from exit to SR 169 and there is no time evaluation of when the roadway will be cleared.

By 5:30 in the morning the sails were still blocked and the backup was more than 2 miles long.

The cause of the crash remains in the process of investigating.
