Director of the Institute for Development of LSU Leadership, called the leadership class Baton Rouge since 2025 – State University of Louisiana

Baton Rouge, La – The Chamber of the Baton Rug (BRAC) region has recently announced the leadership class Baton Rouge since 2025, marking the 40th year of this prestigious program dedicated to the development of future leaders in the metropolitan region. The selected professionals are a diverse range of industries, including business, non -profit, education and government.

The 2025 cohort will be included in a 10-month leadership program designed to equip participants with knowledge, skills and network to stimulate a meaningful change in the Baton Rouge community. By covering topics such as education, diversity and inclusion, economic development and health care, the program causes its members to take active roles in the formation of the future of the region.

Since its founding in 1985, the leadership Baton Rouge has completed over 1400 leaders, many of whom now serve advice, committees and in selected services at local, state and federal levels.

The Institute for Development of LSU leaders has been approved by the Regents Institute in the College of Human Science and Education. Having served as an Academic Center for the Development of Leadership and Education at LSU, LDI connects expert experience in leadership with practitioners in different fields. For the College of Human Science and Education

The College of Human Science and Education (CHSE) is a nationally accredited department of the State University of Louisiana. The college consists of the School of Education, the School of Information Research, the School of Kinesiology, the School of Leadership and Development of Human Resources and the School for Social Work. CHSE has two model demonstration schools, an early age education base, birth enrollment up to the age of four and the University Laboratory School, enrolling kindergarten up to 12th grade. The College also has four centers and the institute: the Institute of Early Childhood Education, the Research Center for Health Aging, the Research Center for Aging, the Institute for Development of Leadership and the Center for Social Research and Evaluation.
