The 3217B department of Fremont Naacp will celebrate the month of black history 2025 and the winners of the Martin Luther King Essay Essay Competition on 16:00 Sunday, February 9 at the Church of the Great St. James, 629 6th Art.

Casundrea Tucker, president of the local NaACP, said the group should cancel their event in January MLK Jr. Due to the weather.

So Sunday, February 9th, the local NAACP will host a speaker, evangelical singers and will present the MLK Jr. to students from the Fremont City School.

Guest -lecturer will be a representative of Ohio Erika White, House Region 41. She will speak to Afro -American and Labor.

NAACP will discuss DEI at the future session

Tucker said he did not foresee discussions on Sunday, focused on President Donald Trump and his elimination of “justice and integration programs”. “Not in this program,” Tucker said. “We meet as a unit to lead these discussions.”

Tucker also said that the program would end at 5:30 pm so that participants could go back to the Super Bowl, which was referring to some members.

Voices in BGSU, Gospel Group will be executed.

NAACP on Sunday will present cards for gifts and awards to four young people who are complicit in the Martin Luther King Jr. essay competition.

Medium and elementary youth enter the MLK Jr.

There are two winners of Fremont high school and two Fremont primary schools. There are no records from Fremont Ross High School, Tucker said.

The elementary records this year came from the schools Otis, Croghan and Lutz.
