Build the Western Virginia Seminar for Princeton – BlueField Daily Telegraph

Princeton – Princeton’s city will host a work session in West Virginia on Thursday with the business and the general public invited to participate.

Princeton Director for Economic Development Sam Luska said on Monday that the work session of 11 hours would be open to construction contractors, business investors and banking institutions, as well as for the general public. It is held at the Princeton Municipal Complex on Bee 800.

“The Ministry of Economic Development of Western Virginia will hold the work session and during it they will talk about tax incentives and loans to correct property plus other stimuli of the program,” said Lusk for the program that seeks to develop housing in the area.

Lusk said the proposed projects for the construction of Western Virginia should be in the WV construction area, which consists of Princeton and the area of 20 square miles around it and includes at least $ 3 million investment with six residential or residential units, which are being built.

“This is the second year in which Princeton is in the program. Last year’s work session was well visited and we hope this year, “Lusse said.

To register for the seminar, contact the marketing coordinator and public links Chris Mabe on 304-920-5796 or by email at [email protected].

Mercer County was appointed to build the West Virginia region last year. Following the designation, tax incentives are combined with millions of dollars investments to develop housing in the area, according to Lusk.

The cities of Princeton and Bluefield applied for the Tax Credit Program for the construction of Housing Construction of WV and were notified in early 2014 of their approval as the WV District region.
