By james art LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – This Sunday join Our Lady of Guadalupe, a beloved Laredo church serving the community since 1924, for its annual Fall Jamaica. Along with the Halloween festivities, this Jamaica will offer exciting raffles with prizes, live music, delicious food and lots of fun for all ages. Marty Perales and Alejandra Cardenas, representing the church, shared the variety of fun activities planned for the event.
The event runs from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on October 27th at 1718 San Jorge Avenue, but early risers can stop by as early as 9am for a hearty breakfast menu featuring tacos and other delicious options available for purchase.
Proceeds from the event will go directly to the church for major upgrades and continued community services. Activities begin at 2 p.m., with games, music and community fun to follow.
