Max Homa calls on fans to compete with him in Scotsdale, announces a date and place – Sportskeeda

Max Homa called on his fans to compete with him in Scottsdale before the upcoming PGO Tour of Phoenix Open. At the event, golf fans will get a chance to meet, interact and compete with Homa and Min Woo Lee.

In the latest stories on Instagram, Homa has invited fans to join him in “The Closer to the Challenge of the Pin” at Lululemon. In another story, he shared that the event will be held on Tuesday, February 4, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, in the Lululemon Scottsdale neighborhood. Homa wrote:

“Going to Scotsdale this week? You are invited to compete with me in the closest challenge for PIN in Lululemon. See you there!”

One of the stories also had a relationship with Eventbrite for fans to book their tickets to the site and more information about the event.

According to the Eventbrite website, the emphasis of the event is “closest to Pin Challenge”, in which both Homa and Lee will compete with the participants in a challenge with two shots. All competitors will play the hole first from 150 yards, then from 50 yards.

The winner will be resolved based on the largest total combined distance from the hole through the two shots. All competitors will receive a 25% discount on their purchases at Lululemon and a personalized golf ball marker.

Max Homa competes in three tournaments in the 2025 season. He tied up for the 26th in Sentry and 53rd at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM. He retired to the second round of Farmers Insurance Open on the Torrey Pines golf course.

How did Max Homa perform in the 2024 season?

Max Homa had an average of 2024 season. He started the year ranked 7th in the OWGR standings and finished the year ranked 35th. He competes in 22 PGA Tour tournaments and made an incision in 18 of them. He had three top-10 finishes and eight top-25 finishes.

HOMA’s best performances include T3 of the Masters and T8 tournament as on the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Well Fargo Championship. His other remarkable performances include T13 of Farmers Insurance Open and T14 in Sentry.
