Suspect members of the Venezuelan band Tren de Aragua, detained by FHP – NBC Miami

Suspect members of the Venezuelan band Tren de Aragua were arrested by the patrol of highways in Florida and the federal authorities.

The arrests were made during dual operations in Talahassi, including FHP, US immigration and customs applications and internal security investigations, employees of the Florida Highway Safety Division and motor vehicles said.

Suspect members of the gang were detained on suspicion of a conspiracy for weapons smuggling, belonging to a criminal gang, orders and illegal entry into the United States, employees said.

Tren de Aragua or Aragua Train in English originates from a prison in Venezuela and has since expanded to the United States and Central and South America, mainly Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru. The organization is involved in various crimes, including killings, drug trafficking and people, sexual crimes, extortion and more.

On Sunday, FHP supports federal authorities in efforts to implement immigration at Fort Myers.

Florida Governor Ron Ron Ron said on Friday that the state had signed an agreement with the FHP tune Ministry of Homeland Security to begin the implementation of immigration law.
